Our mission is to be community-focused, collaborative, professional, and accessible. To help us foster this collaborative environment and ensure a safe, productive, and welcoming experience for everyone, we've created these guidelines.

By using the space, you agree to follow these guidelines, which are designed to protect our community and make Bel4 a brilliant place to work.

Our Shared Space: Guidelines for a Great Environment

Noise & Privacy:
We are an open, shared environment, which can present challenges with noise and privacy.
- Be Mindful: Please be considerate of your noise levels. Take lengthy or loud calls away from quiet desk areas.
- Use Focus Booths: We (intend to) provide dedicated focus booths for private calls and video conferences. Please make use of them.
- Respect Zones: Use breakout and lounge areas for collaborative chats and keep dedicated desk zones for focused work.
Meeting Rooms:
- Please book meeting rooms in advance using our system.
- In line with our hospitality mindset, please leave the room clean and tidy for the next member, wiping down tables and pushing in chairs.
Guests:
- You are welcome to host guests.
- For the security and comfort of all members, we require that you meet your guests at reception and accompany them at all times within the space.
Internet & Network:
- We provide a high-speed, secure Wi-Fi network.
- You may not use our network for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited. This includes spamming, hacking, or downloading illegal content.

Health, Safety & Key Policies

Smoking & Vaping (Zero-Tolerance):
- Bel4 is a strict non-smoking and non-vaping facility.
- This policy applies to all internal areas of the building, including offices, coworking spaces, corridors, kitchens, and washrooms.
- Members or guests must use the designated external smoking areas.
Dog-Friendly Policy (For Dedicated Units):
- We understand that a furry friend can be a great work companion. However, to ensure a comfortable and professional environment for all members, our dog-friendly policy is limited to members with a permanent Private Office or a Resident (Dedicated Desk) membership.
- This privilege does not extend to hot-desk or part-time members.
- All dogs must be approved by management, be well-behaved, quiet, and remain on a leash or in their owner's dedicated unit. The community manager has the final say if any dog is causing a disruption.
Security & Access:
- We provide safe, secure, 24/7 access for permanent members. Coworking members have 7-day-a-week access.
- To maintain our robust security, please never prop open external doors or lend your keys or access fobs to anyone.
- You are responsible for your own belongings. Please use the lockable storage provided and do not leave valuables unattended.
